Meet Lacey
I’m a systemic therapist, and I believe we are meant to heal in community. Core themes of my work include embodiment, curiosity, connection, and autonomy. I’m passionate about helping you learn how to engage in healthy conflict. Even through conflict and life transitions, you deserve to experience nervous system regulation and your own sense of self. I value the vast variety within our human experience, and I truly love that we all have our own unique parts, needs, and goals. This keeps life interesting!
I am a therapist, but foremost I am myself—I strive to offer the same level of authenticity I ask my clients to bring to the therapy room. This is absolutely sacred work, but I don’t take myself too seriously! I’d love to laugh or cry with you (often both). When I’m not working, I’m creating art in a million different ways and mediums, finding beauty in the small stuff, staying up to date on the state of the world and my community, and keeping up with a partner who is always on the road.
As someone with over a decade of experience being the partner of a touring musician, I especially enjoy supporting those navigating this unique industry and relational dynamics. It’s an honor to facilitate mental health support in this under-served community.
Hi there! I’m Lacey (she/her).
I genuinely love getting to show up for others who are showing up for themselves.
About me
-
Relational & Affirming
I believe healing happens in connection. My work is affirming, non-judgmental, and grounded in relationship, helping you reconnect with yourself and others in meaningful ways. You are welcomed as you are, and our work honors your autonomy, identity, and lived experience.
Embodied & Integrative
I take an embodied and integrative approach to therapy, weaving together somatic awareness, parts work, breathwork, and nervous system regulation. Our work supports rebuilding trust with your body and inner experience so you can feel more present, grounded, and connected.
Compassionately Challenging
My style is active, curious, and direct. I bring compassion while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore needs, boundaries, and relational dynamics, creating space for growth, accountability, and deeper self-understanding over time.
Justice-Oriented & Evidence-Based
I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of human experience. Drawing from IFS, mindfulness, attachment theory, and polyvagal concepts, I support healing that honors both science and meaning.

What to expect in a session with me
I communicate openly and directly with lots of curiosity. My sessions are typically active: getting to know your parts (IFS), breathwork, nervous system exploration, reframing relational patterns, confronting rumination/avoidance, noticing sensations, identifying and asking for what you need, redefining what safety means to you, developing/ implementing boundaries, challenging you to take up space (energetically—emotionally—physically). This also includes utilizing ACT therapy to work toward unconditional self-compassion by repairing the innate trust you once had in yourself and your body; you deserve to be a safe place for yourself.
Overall, we are collaborating to develop new ways for you to know and relate to yourself and others. We are rarely taught healthy conflict resolution. This in an integral part of maintaining balance and your capacity for growth. If you are scared of conflict or view yourself as someone who HATES conflict, I’d love to invite you into a new world of possibilities where your needs are just as important as the needs of those around you. Conflict is not failure, and it doesn’t have to hijack your nervous system.
Through it all, research shows us time and time again that the most important therapeutic factor of change is the connection you have to your therapist, so it’s very much a part of my job to ensure you’re getting what you need out of our sessions. Therapy is a financial commitment and often a privilege to access, so I strive to meet you in whatever feels genuinely helpful for your life and relationships.
I’m aligned and affirming of Health at Every Size (HAES), neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+
